Your Account
Everything about your profile, security, and how you sign in.
Your Profile
This is how you appear to teammates and in the app. Keep it updated so people know who they're working with.
- Name — What others see when you're assigned to tasks or mentioned in comments.
- Email — Where we send notifications and how you recover your account if needed.
- Avatar — Automatically pulled from GitHub if you signed up that way. Or upload your own.
Password & Security
Keep your account secure. If you signed up with email, you can change your password anytime. We recommend doing this periodically.
Signed up with GitHub? You can still set a password as a backup sign-in method. Go to Account Settings → Password to create one.
A strong password mixes letters, numbers, and symbols. Don't reuse passwords from other sites.
Email Verification
We send a verification link when you sign up or change your email. Click it to confirm your address.
Didn't get it? Check your spam folder first. Still nothing? Request a new verification email from your Account Settings.
Verified emails help us keep your account secure and make sure important notifications reach you.
Linked Accounts
Connect external accounts for faster sign-in and to pull in your profile information automatically.
GitHub
One-click sign-in with your GitHub account
Link or unlink accounts from your Settings. You can have multiple ways to sign in—use whichever is most convenient.
Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security to your account with TOTP-based two-factor authentication.
- Enable 2FA — Set up 2FA by scanning a QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
- Backup Codes — After enabling 2FA, you receive 10 backup codes. Save them safely — each can only be used once for emergency access.
- Disable 2FA — You can disable 2FA anytime from Security settings using your password and a current authenticator code.
Important: Download or copy your backup codes immediately after enabling 2FA. They will not be shown again.
Passkeys
Sign in quickly and securely using your device's biometrics or a security key — no password needed.
- Register a Passkey — Add a passkey from the Security settings page. Your device will prompt you for biometric verification (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, etc.).
- Manage Passkeys — View, rename, and remove registered passkeys from the Security settings page.
- Sign In with Passkey — Use the 'Sign in with Passkey' button on the login page for passwordless authentication.
Security & Login History
Monitor who's accessing your account and from where. The Security page gives you full visibility into your login activity, active sessions, and additional security options like 2FA and passkeys.
- Login History — See every login attempt—successful or failed—with device info, IP address, and timestamp. Filter by date range (7, 30, or 90 days).
- Active Sessions — View all devices currently signed into your account. Each session shows the browser, operating system, and when it was last active.
- Session Revocation — Revoke individual sessions or all other sessions at once. Useful if you left your account signed in somewhere or notice suspicious activity.
- Export — Download your login history as a CSV file for your own records or security audits.
Access your security settings from the user menu in the sidebar—click your avatar and select Security.
